 In recent years, mens collegiate clubs from the Wisconsin RFU have been a force to be reckoned with in the Midwest. UW-Stout has been a perennial winner in Division 1 for more than a decade, with countless Midwest Final Four appearances. A variety of Division 2 teams have also fared well in Midwest competition. UW-Milwaukee was the 2005 Midwest Division 2 Champions, UW-Madison was the 2008 Midwest Division 2 Runner-Up (going to the USA Rugby national championship game), and most recently, UW-Whitewater was the Midwest Division 2 Champion in 2009.
